Dawn Copperthite is a Registered and Certified Dietitian, Nutrition Therapist and Consultant serving the Western New York Community over the past 30 years. Dawn specializes in medical nutrition therapy in the prevention and therapeutic intervention of a variety of nutrition needs, including eating disorders, gastrointestinal diseases and conditions, diabetes and weight management, PCOS, healthy eating and cardiovascular health.
Dawn has a private practice in Williamsville, New York. She is a dedicated and knowledgeable Registered Dietitian and Nutrition Therapist, who promotes a healthy eating lifestyle to obtain realistic individual goals. Working with all ages and various nutrition needs, Dawn provides an extremely warm, welcoming and comfortable setting in order to offer her patients the tools they need to make sustainable changes for a lifetime of success. She takes the time to understand each patient on a personal level to help enable them to reach their goals. Not only is Dawn a professional nutrition educator, she is highly supportive, empathetic, and shows great compassion for all of her patients. Dawn’s positive and motivating attitude is quite contagious and she is an inspiration to many. Her positive attributes lead to a habit and mind changing impact for years to come.
Dawn holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics from the State University of New York College at Buffalo. She has specialized training in Low FODMAP diets from Monash University in Australia and in Inflammatory Bowel Disease from The IBD Nutrition School. Dawn also has specialized training in PCOS Nutrition from the PCOS Nutrition Center in Pennsylvania. Dawn continues to enhance her clinical knowledge using research findings to implement an innovative evidence-based practice.
